    Exciting exhibition with 40 artists opens at two locations: New Bedford Art Museum on Saturday May 11th, and June 13 at UMass Dartmouth Gallery where three paintings made for this exhibition will be displayed. My painting "Out To Sea" was also chosen for the invitation and exhibition poster.

  • Artist's Book Exhibit, New London, CT, Bridgeport, CT, Havana Cuba

    "The Eleggua": My work included in artist’s book featuring twelve linoleum cut prints printed at El Taller Experimental de la Habana, Cuba in 2012. The artwork was created by twelve artists which include nine Cuban artists, and 3 American artists. The book is based on African Myths of the Cuban Diaspora.
    "The Eleggua" has been placed in the following collections:

  • "A Novel Idea" - Exhibition at UMass, Amherst

    Northampton artist Sally Curcio invited me to participate in an Artist's Book show, "A Novel Idea", at Hampden Galleries at the University of Massachusetts, in Amherst. The show opens December 11 and is located in the Southwest residential area. I was asked to create an "altered book" for the exhibit - I chose "The 20th century Artbook" by Phaidon Press.

  • Residency in Havana, Cuba

    I have been invited to a bookmaking symposium at Graphicos Creativos in Havana, Cuba this January. Three artists: myself, Imna Arroyo and Amanda Lebel, along with Raouf Mama, a stoyteller and scholar from Eastern Connecticutt State University will work with artists in Cuba to produce a suite of prints based on African and Cuban Myths. Should be very exciting.
