I created a relief print for a group artist's book in Havana. The book contains images by 24 artists most of them living and working in Cuba, and is based on African Trickster Myths. More to follow...

Northampton artist Sally Curcio invited me to participate in an Artist's Book show, "A Novel Idea", at Hampden Galleries at the University of Massachusetts, in Amherst. The show opens December 11 and is located in the Southwest residential area. I was asked to create an "altered book" for the exhibit - I chose "The 20th century Artbook" by Phaidon Press.

I have been invited to a bookmaking symposium at Graphicos Creativos in Havana, Cuba this January. Three artists: myself, Imna Arroyo and Amanda Lebel, along with Raouf Mama, a stoyteller and scholar from Eastern Connecticutt State University will work with artists in Cuba to produce a suite of prints based on African and Cuban Myths. Should be very exciting.
